Life is really just crazy. I’ve been searching for writing jobs because that’s what I love to do. I did get a contract with study.com awhile back but the pay was out of proportion to the amount of work. I did, however, learn a lot about SEO and inclusive writing. Now is a good time to work on my book -it’s a fun bipolar self-care guide.
Jason received his cannabis worker’s permit here in Oregon so he’s looking for budtender jobs. We are good though! But it has been a wild trip. It’s hard to relocate without enough of a plan. Starting over is hard, but sometimes necessary!
Catalina is finishing 6th grade with all A’s and one B. We are so proud! She is turning 13 in November and that teenage attitude problem has begun. I mean, yikes. This is going to be hard for the next 5 years.
We are waiting for our delayed tax refund so we can get living room furniture. It’s annoying but there’s not much to do about it.
The focus is on family wellbeing and hearth and home. I’m getting into cooking again. I had lost that when I went through my season without meds. It’s good seeing myself come back to the things that I love. I have been less in love with meat in my diet. I considered becoming a vegetarian again but I think instead I will just radically cut back.
Our 3 guinea pigs are absolutely as adorable as usual. They have such personality. Animals are a balm for the soul.
Overall, we are carrying on well but there is still room for improvement! How have you been?
