The rainy season has started in Oregon. I love it so much. I’m the kind of person who will listen to thunderstorms on Youtube even when it’s sunny out. I’m also the type to listen to Christmas carols anytime of the year if I want a peaceful, cozy vibe. It’s all about the ambiance. I remember an Elvis Christmas album we had on vinyl when I was a kid. It’s the one with Mama Liked the Roses. It really is a beautiful childhood memory. You can get it here but I think it’d missing Mama Liked the Roses which ours had but it’s a great all around classic Christmas album: https://amzn.to/3Fa2GX0
Another Christmas album I love is the Libera Christmas Album. Libera is a boy’s choir out of the UK, and oh my, are they angelic. If you want seasonal peace and tranquility, you need this in your life!
If you’re ready to get into the Christmas spirit you can purchase the album here: https://amzn.to/3F6ajh2

The sun has finally come out as I write this. It’s mid-afternoon and my partner is gaming while our daughter watches him. I hope the rain starts again because knitting and sewing is more cozy when it’s raining. Luckily for my rain-soaked heart it’s going to be raining a lot till May. Now that we’re in Oregon and not Colorado snow won’t be as much of an issue.

I love Oregon but I miss my Mom and Dad like A LOT. My Dad is in Florida and my Mom is still in Colorado and I need to make more of an effort to be closer to family despite the distance between us. Especially now that we’re all getting older. I have just been so caught up in the day to day that I’m not being very good about it. I recently wrote a post about aging that you guys really liked that explains it a bit more about getting older. You can find it here: https://musesandmirages.wordpress.com/2022/07/21/summer-nights-aging/
I’m off for today…it’s family time. But I want to thank you all again for your support. YOU are the best! Until tomorrow …
